Mumbai: In preparation for Holi celebrations and the upcoming summer travel season, Western Railway has announced 46 special trains, which will collectively operate over 600 trips across India.
Speaking on the initiative, Western Railway Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) Vinit Abhishek stated, “Western Railway, keeping the Holi festivities in mind, has notified a total of 46 trains so far. These 46 trains will operate more than 600 trips in total, connecting various states across India.”
He further highlighted that the Mumbai Central Division will handle a significant portion of these operations, with 500 trips planned from the region.
"Keeping the safety of passengers in mind, we are ensuring that no overcrowding occurs at any station," Abhishek assured.
