Gorakhpur: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday inaugurated projects worth ₹1,533 crore in Gorakhpur, marking a significant development push for the region. The event was attended by officials, local leaders, and residents, with the CM highlighting the significance of the initiatives as an auspicious beginning for the year 2025.
Addressing the gathering, CM Adityanath said, “The auspicious beginning of the year 2025 happened yesterday, and today I have the privilege to be among you in Gorakhpur for projects worth ₹1,533 crore. I extend my greetings for these projects, the upcoming Khichdi Mela, and the (Maha) Kumbh in Prayagraj.”
The projects include infrastructure development, improved connectivity, and enhancements in public services, aimed at accelerating the region’s growth and boosting the quality of life for its citizens.
CM Adityanath also spoke about the upcoming Khichdi Mela, a cultural and religious event unique to Gorakhpur, and the Maha Kumbh scheduled to take place in Prayagraj. He emphasized the government’s preparations to ensure these events are conducted smoothly, attracting devotees and tourists from across the country and abroad.
