UP Aims for ₹35 Lakh Crore GSDP, CM Highlights Infrastructure and Development Gains

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday highlighted the state’s economic growth and development initiatives, stating that the state’s Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) is projected to reach ₹35 lakh crore in the current financial year.

Addressing the state’s progress, the CM pointed to improved fiscal management, noting that Uttar Pradesh now operates with a revenue surplus. “We have worked to make the state self-reliant,” he said, emphasising efforts to strengthen economic resilience.

CM Adityanath underscored key infrastructure achievements, including the development of express highways enhancing interstate connectivity. He also cited the launch of the country’s first inland waterway connecting Varanasi to Haldia, as well as the introduction of India’s first rapid rail system, positioning the state as a leader in transportation innovation.
