In response to the recent Hathras stampede accident, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi expressed his condolences and assured comprehensive support from the central and state governments. "It is an unfortunate incident. The PM expressed condolence yesterday during his speech. All possible help would be provided by the central and the state government," Manjhi stated.

He emphasized that the causes of the accident will be thoroughly investigated. "The reasons for the accident would be inquired. Action would be taken against those who are at fault and appropriate compensation would also be provided to the victims," he added.
