In Delhi, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw highlighted several railway initiatives, including the ongoing manufacture of 2,500 general coaches and approval for an additional 10,000. He emphasized the Railway's response to high seasonal demand with over 10,000 special trains this summer.

Vaishnaw underscored focused efforts on service quality, safety enhancements, and cleanliness. He noted progress in manufacturing 50 Amrit Bharat trains, with plans for 150 more underway. Highlighting infrastructure growth, Vaishnaw mentioned the addition of 5,300 km of new tracks last year and over 800 km this year.

Additionally, he mentioned the accelerated rollout of 'Kawach,' a safety initiative, further strengthening railway operations across India.
