By Surya Prakash Kapoor, environmental scientist: Ultra strong low pressure area created by 1100 degrees centigrade heat radiations pumped into atmosphere by three square kilometers caldera of active volcano of barren island in Andaman Sea. Last year India suffered a loss of more than two billion dollars due to extreme weather conditions created by ultra strong low pressure area of caldera of active volcano of barren island in Andaman Sea.
Thrice a year Bay of Bengal spawned tropical cyclones to menace four eastern coastal states namely West Bengal,Orissa, Andhra pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Excessive rainfall in himalayan states like Uttrakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal, North Eastern States (seven) is also incurred by procession of clouds attracted by this ultra strong low pressure area created by 1100 degrees centigrade heat radiations. Loo is faced by Odisha state people when air blows from ultra strong low pressure area towards Odisha state.
Distortion in regular monsoon pattern has resulted in uneven rainfall in the mainland states of country. Karnataka faced draught and Himachal faced flooding. Government of india should immediately abolish this ultra strong low pressure area by installing geothermal power plant on caldera of active volcano of barren island in Andaman Sea. It may be recalled that three lakhs people were killed by tsunami generated from subduction zone of Andaman Sea on 26th december 2004 year. The sea surface temperature of bay of bengal rose from 18 degrees centigrade to 32 degrees centigrade within 24 hours,on account of geothermal energy released from subduction zone of Andaman Sea. Soon after tsunami the volcanic eruption took place on 28th may 2005 year.
