Gurdaspur, Punjab: In a significant breakthrough, the Gurdaspur police have arrested two young men accused of spying for Pakistan and leaking confidential information related to Indian security forces. According to DIG Border Range Satinder Singh, the arrested individuals were directly in contact with Pakistan’s intelligence agency, the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

“This is a serious betrayal of the nation,” said DIG Singh during a press briefing. “The Gurdaspur police have busted a module involved in leaking strategic information about our forces in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir. These individuals were activated by the ISI shortly after the Pahalgam terror attack.”

The arrested suspects, both aged between 19 and 20 and residents of Gurdaspur, were reportedly involved in drug-related activities as well. Authorities revealed that a sum of one lakh rupees was transferred to their bank accounts, allegedly as payment for the information they provided.
