BY A STAFF REPORTER: A Tory MP has come out in support of the promalgation of Uniform Civil Code in India. Speaking exclusively with ANM News over phone from London, Conservative Party member of the House of Lords, Raminder Ranger mentioned that no country can progress if there are separate laws based on caste, creed and religion. “At a time when countries are competing with one another for progress, a uniform civil code is compulsory for progress,” he said. Lord Ranger, known for his firm stand in British politics, has openly hit out against the divisive politics of a section of the Sikh community in Great Britain.
