‘Father, you are always with me,’ Rahul Gandhi tribute to Rajiv Gandhi

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday remembered former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. Today is the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. On this day Congress leader Rahul Gandhi tribute to his father. He tweeted that, ‘Father, you are always with me, as an inspiration, forever in my memories.’  On this day in 1991, Rajib Gandhi was killed by militants in Tamil Nadu. On Sunday, former Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra paid homage at the congress leader's memorial in New Delhi. Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge was also present.
