Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Saturday announced that his ongoing visit to Europe has yielded investment commitments worth ₹15,516 crore for the state. According to Stalin, the agreements and proposals secured during the tour are expected to generate employment opportunities for 17,613 people across various sectors.

The Chief Minister is leading a delegation to several European countries with the aim of attracting foreign investment and strengthening Tamil Nadu’s position as a preferred global destination for industries. Officials accompanying the delegation said the engagements have involved high-level meetings with business leaders, investors, and representatives from multinational corporations.

Stalin emphasized that the investments will be spread across different regions of Tamil Nadu, contributing to balanced growth, industrial development, and job creation for youth. He also reiterated his government’s commitment to supporting industries through infrastructure, skilled manpower, and a conducive policy environment.
