Muzaffarpur, Bihar: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on Tuesday stepped up his criticism of the ruling government during the ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ in Muzaffarpur, accusing both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of neglecting people’s concerns.

Addressing a large gathering, Tejashwi questioned the absence of the state and central leadership, saying, “Where is Chief Minister? Where is PM Modi? Just giving mere ‘jumlas’ won’t work.” He alleged that the government was systematically eroding public entitlements. “First, they will remove your name from the voter list, then ration card and then pension. It is a ‘Nakalchi’ government. They are doing what Tejashwi said,” he remarked, stressing that the opposition INDIA alliance remained united.

In another part of his address, Tejashwi welcomed Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and DMK MP Kanimozhi, who joined the yatra in a show of solidarity. “I welcome Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin ji and Kanimozhi ji… You have all come here in large numbers; this encourages us greatly,” he said. Expressing confidence in political change, he added, “I promise you all that a new government will be formed in Bihar.”

Targeting CM Nitish Kumar directly, Tejashwi remarked that the chief minister was no longer in a position to manage state affairs. “Our ‘chacha’ is in an unconscious state. He is no longer able to handle Bihar,” he said.
