Kolkata, August 16, 2025: Tata Motors, one of India’s leading automobile manufacturers, has officially commenced production of its much-anticipated electric SUV, the Harrier.ev. The model was launched in Kolkata today, marking a key milestone in the country’s fast-growing electric mobility sector.

TheHarrier.ev, which was unveiled earlier this year, has already generated a strong response from customers. Deliveries began in July 2025, and vehicles have started arriving at dealerships nationwide. According to the company, the Harrier.ev is available in two drive configurations—Quad Wheel Drive (QWD) and Rear Wheel Drive (RWD)—and comes in four colour options: Nainital Nocturne, Empowered Oxide, Pristine White, and Pure Grey. In addition, Tata Motors has introduced a “Stealth Edition” featuring a matte black exterior and all-black interiors.

BuiltonTata’s acti.ev architecture, the Harrier.ev is equipped with a dual-motor QWD system designed to deliver high torque and acceleration. The SUV also includes several advanced features such as a Harman display powered by Samsung Neo QLED, Dolby Atmos-enabled audio, and a 540-degree Surround View system that enhances visibility by eliminating blind spots.
