Karad, Satara: Amid ongoing international outreach efforts under Operation Sindoor, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) state president Sunil Tatkare has extended support to the initiative, calling it a “good step” by the Indian government. The campaign, which sees all-party delegations visiting various countries to provide clarity on India's recent counter-terrorism actions, follows the terror attack in Pahalgam that shocked the nation.

Tatkare emphasized the importance of communicating India's stance globally. “The Government has taken a good initiative. When such an incident happened (Pahalgam terrorist attack), a new initiative has been taken to tell the role of the Government of India (in Operation Sindoor) and why the action was taken,” he said while speaking to reporters in Karad.

However, the NCP leader didn’t mince words when addressing remarks made by Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut. Responding to Raut’s criticism of senior NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal, Tatkare dismissed it entirely. “Sanjay Raut says anything. He speaks every morning by setting an agenda. His health is deteriorating every day after losing the Vidhan Sabha elections. So, we do not take his statements seriously,” Tatkare remarked.
