Terrible road accident! Multiple killed

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Three minors were killed when a speeding SUV rammed into them in Bihar's Jamui district on Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Vinay Kumar Majhi, 17, Rampravesh Ravidas, 15, and Vinay Kumar Ravidas, 14. The deceased were residents of Dighot village under Sikandara police station limits. The deceased minors were on their way to Nawada. Police said they were hit by a speeding SUV at Rampur crossing on the Sikander-Nawada main state highway. Three minors died on the spot. The SUV driver managed to escape before villagers gathered at the spot.

The villagers started protesting by placing the bodies on the road and demanding adequate compensation to the family members of the victims. The road was blocked for some time due to the incident. Police arrived and brought the situation under control.
