BY A STAFF REPORTER: On the alleged sexual harassment case of women MBBS students In the context of sexual harassment against female students of a medical college in Delhi, Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj says, "In January, MBBS students of Delhi Medical College reported sexual harassment against their professor. Being a minister, I wasn't given any information on this till March. When I enquired about the action taken, I got no answer. The Chief Secretary told me I wasn't informed about the issue because it comes under the LG and not the minister... Why hasn't the professor been suspended till now? The college administration is pressuring the victims to take back their complaints. The victims had to approach the police to file their complaint. The internal complaints committee has been working on the matter for 1.5 months, why haven't they given a report till now?."
