BY A STAFF REPORTER: At least 25 people were killed when a Pune-bound bus caught fire on the Samruddhi Mahamarg Expressway in Maharashtra.
According to sources, the incident took place around 2 am on Saturday. The fire is now completely under control.
Deputy SP Baburao Mahamuni said 25 bodies were recovered from the bus. There were a total of 32 passengers in the bus, while 6-8 people were injured. The injured have been admitted to Buldhana Civil Hospital.
