BY A STAFF REPORTER: Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party unveiled its election manifesto called 'Sankalp Patra' in New Delhi on April 14, Sunday.
The BJP Manifesto aims to introduce 'One nation, one election' and a common electoral roll system. The Sankalp Patra also states that the year 2025 will be called 'Janjatiya Gaurav Year'.
BJP's National President JP Nadda recalled the achievements of the BJP-led Central Government in the last 10 years which included the Ram Mandir, Abrogation of Article 370, development of roadways, optical fiber connectivity, alleviation of extreme poverty, etc.
JP Nadda alleged that Congress lawyers attempted to stop the judicial process of Ayodhya's Ram Mandir and Babri Masjid case, claiming that it would benefit the BJP. He further accused Congress of not being concerned about the country or Lord Ram and instead did vote-bank politics.
The manifesto was launched in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, and BJP National President JP Nadda, in the party headquarters.
