Sambhal: In response to allegations made by Zafar Ali, president of the Shahi Jama Masjid management committee, regarding the recent violence in Sambhal, Sambhal Superintendent of Police (SP) Krishna Bishnoi dismissed the claims, describing them as part of a politically motivated conspiracy.

Ali had stated that no public individuals had pelted stones during the unrest and further alleged that police personnel were responsible for vandalizing vehicles. In his defense, SP Bishnoi pointed out that Ali was seen wearing a helmet after the survey was concluded, contradicting his statements about the situation.

Bishnoi sharply criticized the accusations, stating, “He himself is making himself a part of a politically motivated conspiracy. He claims the police destroyed their own vehicles, but that is simply untrue.”

The SP further clarified that the rioters were responsible for the destruction, revealing that around six to seven vehicles were vandalized and set on fire during the violence. “Every single penny of the property destroyed by the rioters will be recovered,” Bishnoi vowed, emphasizing the police’s commitment to holding those responsible accountable.

The violence in Sambhal has sparked tension, but authorities are determined to ensure justice and recover the damages incurred from the unlawful acts.
