Another good interception by RPF

RPF Secunderabad rescued 54 child trafficking victims from Train no 17008 Dharbanga Express and Train no 11020 Konark Express on 19&20.04.2023 in collaboration with BBA under Operation AAHT. On inputs generated by RPF Cyber Cell regarding vulnerable trains of Human trafficking along with analysis of PRABAL,  Two trains were identified for a joint raid by RPF Secunderabad and BBA. 

RPF has successfully rescued 54 child trafficking victims and detained 13 traffickers in two days.  On 19 th April 2023, RPF staff escorted Train No.17008 Dharbanga Express from its starting point of jurisdiction at Ballarshah  and conducted targeted raids from Ballarshah to Kazipet. 

The operation was carried out by the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of RPF Secunderabad and involved keeping a close watch on suspected coaches to identify and pinpoint the seat and coach numbers of the traffickers. Further, on 20 th April 2023, the RPF escorted Train No.11020 Konark Express from its starting point of jurisdiction at Khammam and Warangal. 

Both the  operations were successful, and 54 child trafficking victims were rescued along with 13 traffickers coming from Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh & Chattisgarh states detained and handed over to GRP for further legal action.
