New Delhi: The Republic Day Parade on January 26, 2025, promises to be a grand spectacle, celebrating India’s strength, unity, and rich heritage. According to the Defence Ministry, the day will begin with Prime Minister Narendra Modi laying a solemn wreath at the National War Memorial to honor the valiant soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation.
In a display of tradition and ceremonial grandeur, the President of India will arrive at Kartavya Path in a ceremonial buggy, a practice symbolizing the dignity of the highest office in the country. The President will take the salute during the ceremonial march past, which will feature an impressive array of participants.
Units from the Armed Forces, including the Army, Navy, and Air Force, will showcase their discipline and precision alongside contingents from the Para Military Forces and Auxiliary Civil Forces. Adding to the youthful enthusiasm will be cadets from the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and volunteers from the National Service Scheme (NSS), reflecting the spirit of unity and service among India’s younger generation.
