New Delhi | Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala launched a sharp attack on the Haryana government, accusing it of deep-rooted corruption and failure in addressing youth employment, particularly in the recent Assistant Professor recruitment process.
In a strongly worded statement, Surjewala alleged that the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has become a "hub of irregularities and wrongdoing." He said, “Haryana once again finds itself trapped in a web of corruption, recruitment scams, and manipulation. The future of Haryana’s youth is being pushed into darkness by the Nayab Saini government.”
Highlighting the fact that the Assistant Professor recruitment is being conducted after a gap of seven years, Surjewala claimed the process is already “riddled with discrepancies and favoritism,” signaling a betrayal of the hopes of thousands of aspirants.
The Congress leader’s criticism reflects growing concerns among opposition parties and civil society regarding transparency and fairness in recruitment by state agencies. Allegations of paper leaks, delayed exams, and favoritism have marred several selection processes in the state in recent years.
