New Delhi: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has described "Operation Sindoor" as more than just a military operation, calling it a symbol of India's unwavering political, social, and strategic resolve. Singh echoed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message, emphasizing that the operation is a key reflection of India’s determined stance against terrorism.

"Operation Sindoor is not merely a military action, but a symbol of India's political, social, and strategic resolve," said Rajnath Singh. He also reiterated that Prime Minister Modi has made it clear that this is a new India, one that will not hesitate to take effective and decisive action against terrorism on both sides of the border.

Singh’s statement underlined the government's commitment to tackling the menace of terrorism, reinforcing that India is prepared to confront any challenge that threatens its sovereignty and security. "This is a new India," he added, signaling the country’s readiness to act firmly and swiftly in the face of any threat.
