New Delhi: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has praised Brahmos as a prime example of the technological confluence between India and Russia, emphasizing the significance of this partnership in bolstering India’s defense capabilities. Speaking at an event, Singh drew a parallel between Brahmos and the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and Sarasvati at Prayag in Uttar Pradesh, stating that just as Prayag is globally renowned for its confluence, Lucknow will soon be recognized for its role in this technological synergy.
"Brahmos is a confluence of the highest defense technology of India and Russia," Singh said, highlighting the strategic and technological impact of the missile system. He further expressed his belief that this collaboration will have far-reaching implications for the region's economy, including generating direct and indirect employment opportunities.
"I also firmly believe that in the future, this region will emerge as a growth pole," Singh added, positioning Lucknow as a key player in India’s defense and technological sectors.
