Railway accident: rescue work is over, what did the Minister of Railways say?

By a Staff Reporter: There is widespread panic after the Coromandel express Express accident in Odisha's Balasore. Cries and wails shake the skies of Balasore. The curse of death has descended on Balasore. So far more than 250 people have died in this incident. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has said that rescue operations have been completed in the Baleshwar train accident. He said, "The rescue operation has been completed and restoration work has started".

He assured a thorough investigation into the incident. He said that it will be ensured that such incidents do not happen in the future. Note that on Friday evening, 3 trains met with an accident in Balasore. The accident took place between Coromandel express, Humsafar Express and a freight train. Coromandel Express was the most affected in this incident. About a thousand people are said to have been injured in the incident. At present, urgent treatment is being arranged for the injured.
