Rail accident: Death toll rises

By a Staff Reporter: The death toll in the cursed Coromandel Express accident in Odisha's Balasore continues to rise. The death toll has now risen to 238. This has been informed by Indian Railways. But the situation is not normal yet. Rescue work is still going on. Dead bodies are being recovered one after another.

As a result, the death toll is expected to increase more. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has already reached the spot and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik visited the accident site. They are investigating the situation.
