Rahul Gandhi dealt setback
By Avideep Nandi Majumdar
Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi has received a big blow as his plea seeking in a Modi Surname defamation case has been dismissed by Gujrat High Court. Justice Hemant Prachchhak, dismissed the plea and said that Rahul was facing 10 criminal charges and the order of the lower court was legal, proper and just. After this, he will continue to remain suspended from contesting elections, holding chair of MP. However he can appeal against the decision to a large bench of Gujrat High Court and supreme Court. Unhappy with the ruling, Congress leader in Gujrat Assembly has said the party will challenge high court order in apex court.
