Patna: Congress MP and Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Thursday outlined a vision for the “Ati Pichhda Samaj,” aimed at addressing the concerns of underrepresented communities in Bihar. Speaking at the ‘Ati Pichhda Nyay Sankalp’ symposium, Gandhi stressed that the initiative goes beyond party politics, focusing on equitable development and representation.
“We seek a vision that goes beyond party politics. It is a vision for the 'Ati Pichhda Samaj.' The points which we have mentioned (in Ati Pichhda Nyay Sankalp) are reservation and the formation of a dedicated committee to address concerns of under-inclusion,” he said.
During the symposium, a ten-point resolution was passed, which Gandhi stated would be implemented when the INDIA bloc comes to power in Bihar. The resolution aims to address social and economic disparities, strengthen affirmative action measures, and ensure that marginalized communities receive their rightful opportunities in education, employment, and governance.
