Purnea, Bihar: Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Saturday lashed out at the Bihar government over the growing crisis of unemployment and migration, accusing it of neglecting the state’s youth. Speaking at a public rally in Purnea, she said that lack of job opportunities and industrial development has forced thousands of young people to leave their homes in search of work elsewhere.
“Unemployment and migration are the biggest problems. Youth here cannot find work. There are no local industries where they can find jobs,” Priyanka said, criticizing the state administration for failing to address these long-standing issues.
She pointed out that despite numerous vacancies in government departments, recruitment drives have been delayed or ignored. “The government here has left many positions vacant. Many young people are unemployed, but they are not providing employment,” she added.
