Belagavi, Karnataka: Addressing the Congress' 'Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan' rally in Belagavi, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra launched a scathing attack on the government, accusing it of disrespecting the legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and undermining the Constitution.

"Many of the governments came and have gone, and not just the governments of Congress but of many parties, but till date none of the governments came whose Home Minister can disrespect Babasaheb Ambedkar in the Parliament," said Vadra.

She further criticized the current administration, referencing controversial statements. "No one can think of this—that decades after attaining Independence, someone can say that we didn't get freedom in 1947. No one ever thought that such disrespect would come from the government, that the ministers would talk about weakening the Constitution," she remarked.

Vadra's speech centered on the importance of preserving the ideals of Ambedkar and the Constitution, urging citizens to remain vigilant against any attempts to erode democratic principles. The rally highlighted the Congress' commitment to upholding constitutional values and protecting the rights of marginalized communities.
