By A Staff Reporter — New Delhi: President Droupadi Murmu is set to embark on a three-day visit to Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu from November 12 to 14, 2024. The visit will focus on engagements with local communities, educational institutions, and key infrastructural developments.
On November 12, the President will begin her tour by visiting the Aviary in Daman, followed by stops at the Government Engineering College and the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) campus in the city. These visits are part of her ongoing efforts to encourage educational development and innovation across the nation.
The following day, November 13, will see President Murmu visit the NAMO Medical Education & Research Institute in Silvassa, where she will interact with students and faculty members from various educational institutions. She will also inaugurate the Zanda Chowk School in Silvassa and address a public function to discuss various initiatives for the region's progress.
In the evening of November 13, President Murmu will visit the INS Khukri Memorial, further underscoring her commitment to honoring India’s military heritage.
This visit highlights the President's dedication to engaging with the people and institutions of the Union Territories, promoting education, healthcare, and public welfare as key priorities for the government's development agenda.
