Gaborone (Botswana): President Droupadi Murmu on Wednesday paid homage to the victims of the recent terror attack in Delhi, observing a minute’s silence during her address in Gaborone, the capital of Botswana.

Before beginning her official remarks, the President expressed deep condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the blast. “Before I begin my address, I want to express my sympathies to the family and friends of the deceased in the Delhi blast. I urge you all to observe a minute's silence in memory of the victims,” President Murmu said.

The solemn moment was observed by all attendees, marking an expression of solidarity and grief from the Indian delegation during the President’s ongoing state visit to southern Africa.
