Prashant Kishor

Darbhanga: Jan Suraaj founder and political strategist Prashant Kishor on Sunday addressed the Bihar Badlaav Sabha in Darbhanga, urging voters to move beyond caste and religion in their political choices and instead prioritize the future of their children and the state’s progress.
Kishor alleged that ruling leaders exploit the public throughout their tenure and attempt to buy votes during elections. “Leaders will come and give you money during election. Do take that. I will tell you why? Over the past five years, were you asked for bribes to get your ration card, and land registration or not? They looted you for five years and now giving Rs 1500-2000, take it back, it is your money… For once vote for the better future of your children,” he said.
He also criticized the state government’s handling of students and job aspirants, pointing to recent discontent among Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) candidates. “Whether BPSC candidates or anyone else, everyone is upset. Leaders sitting in government bungalows have allowed the police to misbehave with students and lathi-charge women and children,” Kishor remarked.
