Raipur — In the aftermath of the terror attack in Pahalgam, Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao has strongly backed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s high-level security meeting with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, the Chief of Defence Staff, and the three service chiefs. Sao described the Prime Minister’s response as “historic” and reflective of the nation’s collective anger.

Speaking to reporters in Raipur, Sao said, “The people of the whole country are angry with the Pahalgam incident. People feel that Pakistan should be taught a tough lesson. Historic decisions are being made under PM Modi’s leadership — whether it’s suspending the Indus Water Treaty or cancelling visas issued to Pakistanis. The way Pakistan is repeatedly violating the ceasefire on the border, the decision taken by the Prime Minister yesterday is historic.”

He further criticized the Congress party for its recent ‘Gayab’ social media post targeting the Prime Minister. “This has exposed the mentality of the Congress party — they time and again speak the language of Pakistan and terrorists,” he alleged.
