Bengaluru, Aug 9 — Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bengaluru on Saturday, August 10, for a series of infrastructure-related events aimed at boosting connectivity and urban development in the city.
From KSR Railway Station, the Prime Minister will flag off three Vande Bharat Express trains, which officials say will improve rail connectivity between Bengaluru and other regions. The Vande Bharat Express is India’s semi-high-speed train service designed to provide faster travel with enhanced passenger comfort.
In addition to the railway projects, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Yellow Line of the Bengaluru Metro. The new line is expected to ease traffic congestion and improve public transport options in the city.
The visit will also see the foundation stone being laid for Phase-3 of the Bengaluru Metro project, which aims to expand the network to underserved areas and further integrate it with other transport systems.
