New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to Ethiopia will include high-level talks, a parliamentary address, and the signing of several bilateral agreements aimed at expanding development cooperation between the two nations, the Ministry of External Affairs announced on Thursday.
Briefing reporters ahead of the Prime Minister’s trip to Jordan, Ethiopia and Oman, Secretary (South) Neena Malhotra outlined the key elements of the Ethiopia leg. “In Ethiopia, PM Modi will hold one-on-one and delegation-level talks with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali, address a joint session of parliament, and interact with the Indian community… Several MOUs and agreements are expected to be signed to strengthen the partnership, enhance development cooperation, and create new areas of collaboration,” she said.
