RAIPUR — Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Tuesday announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the state to take part in the upcoming 25th anniversary celebrations. The Prime Minister is scheduled to inaugurate the newly built Chhattisgarh Assembly complex and a state-of-the-art tribal museum during his visit.

Speaking to the media, Sai expressed his pride and enthusiasm over the Prime Minister’s participation. “Chhattisgarh is going to celebrate its 25th anniversary. It’s a matter of great pride that PM Modi is visiting us. He will be inaugurating the new Chhattisgarh assembly complex and the tribal museum,” the Chief Minister said.

Responding to comments made by Congress leader and former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Sai said, “He has been claiming a lot of things. He was in charge of elections in many states, and he knows the outcome.” The remark appeared to be a pointed reference to the Congress party’s recent electoral setbacks.
