Patna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Bihar on February 24, with preparations in full swing to ensure a grand welcome. Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary confirmed the visit, stating that the BJP and the NDA alliance are actively involved in the arrangements.

"The Prime Minister will be coming (to Bihar) on February 24, and our organisation and the ministers will look after the preparations. The BJP and the entire NDA will welcome the prime minister," Choudhary said.

Though the details of Modi’s visit are yet to be officially disclosed, speculation is rife that the trip will focus on key development projects, political engagements, and election preparations ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. The visit is expected to see high-profile meetings, public addresses, and possible project inaugurations.

The BJP has been intensifying its outreach in Bihar following recent political shifts. PM Modi’s visit is seen as a crucial step in strengthening the party’s position in the state, especially amid changing alliance dynamics. Security arrangements are also being ramped up in anticipation of the visit.
