New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a significant visit to Bihar and Uttar Pradesh on May 30, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for major development projects cumulatively worth nearly ₹69,000 crore.
As per the official itinerary, the Prime Minister will first arrive in Patna, Bihar, where he will inaugurate the newly constructed terminal building of the Jay Prakash Narayan International Airport at approximately 5:45 PM. The state-of-the-art facility is expected to significantly enhance passenger capacity and streamline air travel in the region.
Earlier in the day, at around 11 AM, Modi will be in Karakat, Bihar, to inaugurate, dedicate to the nation, and lay the foundation stone for multiple infrastructure and development projects valued at over ₹48,520 crore. The projects span sectors including railways, roadways, health, and energy. The Prime Minister will also address a public gathering in Karakat, highlighting the government's vision for Bihar's growth and modernization.
Following his Bihar engagements, PM Modi will travel to Kanpur Nagar in Uttar Pradesh. There, at around 2:45 PM, he will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate development initiatives worth approximately ₹20,900 crore. He is also scheduled to address a public function, underscoring the transformative potential of these projects for the state’s economy and public services.
