Patna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch Bihar’s Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana on 26th September at 11 AM via video conferencing. The initiative is aimed at empowering women by providing direct financial support to enhance their economic participation.

Under the scheme, the Prime Minister will directly transfer Rs. 10,000 into the bank accounts of 75 lakh women across Bihar, amounting to a total disbursement of Rs. 7,500 crore. Officials said the move is expected to provide immediate financial assistance to women, enabling them to invest in income-generating activities, skill development, or small businesses.

The Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana is part of the state government’s broader efforts to promote women’s entrepreneurship and employment, especially in rural and semi-urban areas. Authorities have highlighted that direct benefit transfers will ensure timely delivery of funds and minimize administrative delays.
