Mumbai: The Navi Mumbai International Airport, developed under a Public–Private Partnership (PPP) at a cost of Rs 19,650 crore, is scheduled to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 8.
Phase 1 of the airport marks India’s largest Greenfield airport project and is expected to bring significant improvements in connectivity and infrastructure, positively impacting the lives of millions of people. Officials have highlighted the airport’s potential to enhance trade, tourism, and regional development, making it a key addition to India’s aviation network.
