Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh: The holy city is set for a moment of historic significance as Prime Minister Narendra Modi leads the Dhwajarohan ceremony at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir on Vivah Panchami. The Prime Minister will ceremonially hoist a specially designed saffron flag atop the temple’s shikhar, marking a major milestone in the ongoing spiritual celebrations of Ayodhya.
According to official details, the flag holds deep symbolic meaning. It features a radiant sun, representing brilliance and divine energy, alongside the sacred Kovidara tree, traditionally associated with Lord Ram’s unwavering strength and virtue. The inscription of ‘Om’ at its centre further elevates the emblem’s spiritual resonance, intended to embody the ideals of Bhagwan Shri Ram and the principles of Ram Rajya—righteous governance, justice and compassion.
