Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced that he will hand over the operation of his social media accounts to women on International Women’s Day, which falls on Saturday, March 8. The move aims to spotlight the achievements of women who have played a significant role in societal and national development.
Speaking at the Surat Food Security Saturation Campaign Programme, PM Modi revealed that he had invited women to share their inspirational journeys through the NAMO app. The response, he said, was overwhelming.
"I had asked women to share their achievements and inspirational journeys with me on the NAMO app. You would be glad to know that a lot of women shared their stories with me. On International Women's Day, I will hand over the operation of my social media account to women. These women have contributed to the development of society and the country," PM Modi stated.
