New Delhi, June 14 — Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Kananaskis, Canada on June 16-17 to attend the G-7 Summit at the invitation of Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney. This marks Modi's sixth consecutive participation in the prestigious gathering of world leaders.

The G-7 Summit will bring together leaders of the world’s most advanced economies, along with invited outreach partners and heads of key international organisations. During the Summit, Prime Minister Modi will engage in substantive discussions on pressing global challenges including energy security, emerging technologies, innovation, and climate resilience. A key focus this year will be on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and energy — the AI-energy nexus — as well as advancing dialogue on quantum technology and its global implications.
