Congress has done nothing for the farmers: PM Modi

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is campaigning in the poll-bound state of Karnataka. At the same time, Prime Minister Modi has been targeting the Congress government by raising several issues. Meanwhile, Modi has been vocal against the Congress from Karnataka's Kolar district, using the issue of farmers' problems as a tool. PM Modi says, "The Congress has done nothing for the farmers. The Congress has done nothing despite promising common farmers. It was the BJP that gave Rs 2.5 lakh crore to farmers' accounts. The Congress always neglects the poor.  We are constantly working for the development of farmers.''
