Wayanad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured full support from the Government of India in the wake of the devastating landslide in Wayanad, Kerala. Speaking about the disaster, PM Modi reflected on his experience 45-47 years ago when the Morbi dam in Gujarat was destroyed by heavy rains, flooding the city and claiming over 2,500 lives.

"I stayed there for about 6 months as a volunteer," Modi recalled, emphasizing his deep understanding of such tragedies. He assured the people of Wayanad that the country and the Government of India "will leave no stone unturned" in aiding recovery efforts.
