Dehradun: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday met personnel from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), and Aapda Mitra teams during his visit to flood-affected regions of Uttarakhand.
The Prime Minister lauded the teams for their tireless rescue and relief efforts carried out under difficult and often dangerous conditions. He said their dedication had played a crucial role in saving lives and providing timely assistance to people stranded in severely hit areas.
During the visit, Modi also reviewed the ongoing relief operations and assessed the support being extended to affected families. Officials briefed him on the scale of damage, evacuation measures, and steps being taken to restore essential services and infrastructure.
