PM Modi Lauds Surat’s Spirit at Food Security Campaign Launch

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while launching the Surat Food Security Saturation Campaign in Gujarat, hailed the city's unique spirit of hard work and mutual support. Addressing a gathering at the event, he emphasized Surat's leading role in economic growth and its commitment to social welfare.

“Today, when I have come to Surat, how is it possible not to witness the spirit of Surat? ‘Kaam aur Daam’—these two things make Surat special. Supporting each other and celebrating everyone’s progress can be seen in every corner of Surat,” PM Modi stated.

He highlighted how Surat has set an example not just in trade and industry but also in social initiatives. “Surat is a leading city of Gujarat and the country in many aspects. Now, Surat is also taking the lead in the mission of providing food and security to the poor and underprivileged,” he added.
