PM Modi Introduces All Four Astronauts For The Gaganyaan Mission

Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced Group Captain Prashanth Nair, Group Captain Ajit Krishnan, Group Captain Angad Pratap, and Wing Commander Shubhanshu Shukla for the upcoming Gaganyaan mission in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala on 27th February, Tuesday.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant move, Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced Group Captain Prashanth Nair, Group Captain Ajit Krishnan, Group Captain Angad Pratap, and Wing Commander Shubhanshu Shukla for the upcoming Gaganyaan mission in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala on 27th February, Tuesday.

Furthermore, Modi bestowed Astronaut wings to the four Astronauts at the VSSC. PM Modi also praised the Astronauts. "An Indian is going to space, after 40 years. This time, the time is ours, the countdown is ours and the rocket is also ours" He added.

The names of Astronauts have been under suspense since the Announcement of the Gaganyaan Mission in 2018. Furthermore, the first manned mission of India, Gaganyaan is set to launch in 2025. Moreover, PM Modi will lay the foundation stones of multiple developmental projects costing around Rs. 24,000 crores.
