Jamnagar, March 4: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated Vantara, a pioneering wildlife conservation, rescue, and rehabilitation initiative in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The project aims to provide a safe haven for rescued animals while promoting ecological sustainability and wildlife welfare.

Commending the efforts of Anant Ambani and his team, PM Modi stated, “Inaugurated Vantara, a unique wildlife conservation, rescue, and rehabilitation initiative, which provides a safe haven for animals while promoting ecological sustainability and wildlife welfare. I commend Anant Ambani and his entire team for this very compassionate effort.”

Vantara, which translates to "Star of the Forest," is designed to serve as a sanctuary for rescued wildlife, including endangered species. It incorporates world-class facilities for animal rehabilitation, veterinary care, and conservation research. The initiative aligns with India’s commitment to biodiversity conservation and sustainable environmental practices.
