New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Kartavya Bhavan at Kartavya Path in the national capital, marking a significant step toward administrative modernization and inter-ministerial collaboration. The newly constructed building aims to centralize key government departments, promoting more efficient and coordinated functioning within the Union government.
Designed as a modern hub of governance, Kartavya Bhavan will house the offices of several important Ministries and Departments, including Home Affairs, External Affairs, Rural Development, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Petroleum and Natural Gas, Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), and the office of the Principal Scientific Adviser (PSA) to the Government of India.
According to official sources, the project reflects the government’s broader push for administrative efficiency, innovation, and improved service delivery by consolidating offices that were previously scattered across different locations in Delhi.
